Peri-peri chicken livers are the ultimate quick and easy meal; the Knorrox All-In-One chicken seasoning is an excellent complement to this traditional dish. 

Tips

Serve with Portuguese rolls, bread rolls or crusty bread. 

Ingredients
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) oil for frying
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 500 g chicken livers
  • 1 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) plain yogurt
  • 50 ml peri-peri sauce
  • 2 tomatoes, grated
  • 1 tbsp Knorrox all in one chicken seasoning
  • 100 ml water
Cooking Method
  1. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add onions, peppers, garlic, paprika, chilli flakes and Knorrox all in one chicken spice.

  3. Brown livers and soften onions and peppers.

  4. Add water, yoghurt, tomatoes and Peri-peri sauce. Leave to simmer for 5-10 minutes over medium heat.
