Everyone loves it chicken and mushroom casserole 
Ingredients
  • 1 x 38 gram sachet Knorr Creamy Mushroom Sauce
  • 125 ml cream
  • 250 ml water
  • 125 ml mayonnaise
  • 125 ml chutney
  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 1 ml Robertsons Atlantic sea salt
  • 1 ml Robertsons black pepper
  • 15 ml oil
  • 250 g button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
Cooking Method
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C

  2. Place the chicken thighs, skin side up in an oven proof dish

  3. Season with Robertsons Atlantic Sea Salt

  4. Robertsons Freshly ground Black Pepper and cook in the oven for 20 minutes until well browned

  5. Remove dish from oven and drain off any excess fat

  6. In a bowl mix together the Knorr Creamy Mushroom Sauce, cream, water, mayonnaise and chutney until combined

  7. Heat oil in a pan and lightly fry the onions and mushrooms for 5 minutes

  8. Scatter the onions and mushrooms over the chicken pieces, then pour over the sauce

  9. Cook in the oven for 30 minutes until golden brown on top and the sauce has thickened

  10. Serve with rice
