Sweet Potato and Spinach Sishebo 
Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Rajah medium curry powder
  • 1 tsp Robertsons Steak & Chops spice
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 kg sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 375 ml water (1½ cups)
  • 1 Knorrox chicken stock cube
  • 1 bunch spinach, cleaned and chopped
  • 2 tbsp Knorr minestrone soup
Cooking Method
  1. In a pot, brown the onion in oil until soft

  2. Add the Rajah Medium Curry Powder, Robertsons Steak & Chop Spice and tomatoes

  3. Fry them for 2 minutes

  4. Add the sweet potatoes, water and Knorrox Chicken Stock Cube

  5. Stir well and bring to the boil

  6. Turn down the heat and allow the dish to simmer for 30 minutes with the lid on

  7. Mix the Knorr Minestrone Soup with 4 tablespoons of water to make a smooth paste, then add it to the pot together with the spinach and allow it to cook for a further 5 minutes.

  8. Served with rice or pap
