Ingredients

- 500 g minced beef
- 1 egg, beaten
- 10 ml Robertsons Barbecue Spice
- 45 ml oil
- For The Sauce:
- 1 packet Knorr Rich beef & Tomato Soup
- 500 ml cold water
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 10 ml sugar
- 5 ml vinegar
- 65 ml tomato sauce
- 500 ml McCains Stew mix (2 cups)
Preparation method
- ungrouped
- Combine the mince, egg and barbecue spice, mix well
- Roll into medium sized meatballs
- Fry in heated oil until brown on all sides
- Remove from pan
- In the same pan add the soup powder and water
- Stir until sauce thickens and add all remaining ingredients
- Return meatballs to the pot
- Cover and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender
- Serve with Rice, pap or pasta
