1. The Promoter is Unilever South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”) and Vetro Media is the (“Promoter Agent”).
2. The promotional competition is open to all South African residents who are over the age of 18 years and in possession of a valid identity document.
3. The promotional competition is not open to any director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Promoter, the marketing service providers or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
4. By participating in this competition participants agree to receive future marketing material from the brand/s on promotion. However, the participant has the right to unsubscribe to receiving marketing material or request the Promoter to delete their information by contacting the Promoter at 15 Nollsworth Crescent, Nollsworth Park, La Lucia, 4051 Att: Legal Department or opting out from any electronic marketing message.
5. All personal information ("Personal Data") supplied by participants shall be processed in accordance with South African data protection legislation and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
6. The promotional competition will run from 21 April 2025 to 31 August 2025.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
7.1. To enter, participants will be required to purchase any 2 (two) participating Rajah Curry Powder products as per the below list, from a participating retailer in South Africa.
7.1.1. Participants must then enter as follows based on the retailer where purchase was made:
7.1.1.1. Spar & Wholesale or Cash & Carry or Discounters
7.1.1.2. Shoprite & Checkers
Swipe your Shoprite or Checkers Xtra Savings card at the till point.
7.1.1.3. Pick n Pay
7.2. To enter the additional Surprise & Delight Social Media competition, participants will then be required to cook a curry with Rajah Curry Powder and share a photo of the curry on Social Media (Facebook or Instagram) with hashtag #WorryOrCookCurry, tagging @RajahSouthAfrica.
8. Participants must keep their till slip as proof of purchase, or a photo thereof.
9. If a participant has given incorrect details of the till slip or Rajah Curry Powder products purchased the Promoter reserves the right to deem that entry as invalid.
10. Participants must enter in their correct contact details. If a Winner has given incorrect contact details, the Promoter reserves the right to select another Winner in terms of the rules.
11. Participants may enter as many times as they wish, however not more than three (3) times a day, provided that each entry is associated with a separate purchase and accurate barcode and till slip.
12. Winners will be drawn at random. The Promoter and Promoter Agent reserves the right to select winners based on the selection criteria.
PRIZE:
13. National Competition: Stand a chance to win your share of R1 000 000 (One Million Rands) in Cash & Prizes weekly, including Other Retail Channels:

13.2. Shoprite & Checkers: Stand a chance to win your share of R300 000 (Three Hundred Thousand Rands) off your shopping instantly and will be drawn as follows:

13.3. Pick n Pay: Stand a chance to win your share of 10 000 000 (Ten Million) Smart Shopper points and will be drawn as follows:

13.4 Surprise & Delight: Stand a chance to win your share of R300 000 (Three Hundred Thousand Rands) in Prizes, weekly and will be drawn as follows:

14. The winner will be entitled to any one of the above-mentioned prizes which will be selected by the Promoter based on the retailer where purchase was made, at random and cannot be exchanged or swapped for any other prize.

SELECTING WINNERS:
16. The promotional competition will run from 21 April 2025 to 31 August 2025.

16.3. Shoprite & Checkers: 1 May 2025 to 30 June 2025

17. Winners will be drawn weekly & monthly as per the winner’s schedule outlined under clause 13 above.
18. Winners are required to keep their till slip as proof of purchase, or a photo thereof.
19. The winners will be required to provide their name, ID number, copy of their identity document, and contact details, proof of address and to sign an acknowledgement of receipt of the prize.
20. The Promoter (or their agent) will endeavour to contact the prize winners once every day for five consecutive working days after their name is announced. If the winner cannot be contacted during this period, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected in accordance with the rules.
21. The Promoter or Promoter Agent reserves the right to select the winners.
DELIVERY OF PRIZES:
22. For the delivery of all these prizes, the Promoter will be in contact with the selected winners to obtain valid banking details or address. The prize(s) will then be sent to them directly.
23. For the Shoprite, Checkers & Pick n Pay competitions, prizes will automatically be transferred into their retailer loyalty card.
24. Failure to claim the prize within five consecutive working days or a refusal or inability to comply with any of the competition requirements will disqualify the winners and a new winner will be selected in terms of these rules.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY – Shoprite, Checkers, Pick N Pay, Spar & Wholesale/ Cash & Carry/ Discounter Stores Instore Promoter Activity
25. This promotional activity is open from 1 May 2025 and ends on 30 June 2025.
26. The promotional activity is only applicable to Shoprite, Checkers, Pick N Pay, Spar & Wholesale/ Cash & Carry/ Discounter Stores, as set out above and any entries received outside of these dates will not be considered.
27. To enter, participants will be required to purchase any 2 or more Rajah Curry Powders excluding 7g from participating stores where there is a promoter on site and spin to win instant prizes.
28. Gifts can only be redeemed from the promoter in store.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY – Mall of Africa, Maponya Mall & Menlyn Park Mall Activation
29. This promotional activity will run as per below dates:
30. To enter, participants will be required to purchase any 2 or more Rajah Curry Powders excluding 7g and spin to win instant prizes (the more Rajah products purchased, the higher the value of the prize).
31. Gifts can only be redeemed from the mall activation on the dates outlined above.
GENERAL:
32. The winners will be required to sign an Indemnity and Media Release form.

34. The Promoter shall not be responsible for the failure of any technical element relating to this promotion that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
35. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer or cell phone hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
36. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any claim if fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data.
37. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
38. The Promoter reserves the right to use the images taken of the winners for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without remuneration being made payable to the winners. However, the winners have the right to object to these images being used by written notification to the Promoter at 15 Nollsworth Crescent, Nollsworth Park, La Lucia, 4051 Att: Legal Department.
39. The Promoter shall have the right to change or terminate the promotional competition immediately and without notice, if deemed necessary in its opinion and if circumstances arise outside of their control. In the event of such change or termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this promotional competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents.
40. In the event that the prize is not available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize of equal value.
41. Neither the Promoter, its agents, its associated companies, nor any directors, officers or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant or the winners.
42. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
43. Participation in the promotional competition constitutes acceptance of the promotional competition rules and participants agree to abide by the rules.
44. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram and the participants acknowledge that they are providing information to the Promoter and its agents only and not to Facebook or Instagram.
45. All participants in this Competition release Facebook & Instagram from all liabilities and claims arising out of or in connection with this competition and these terms and conditions.
46. The Promoter reserves the right to delete any information uploaded by a participant which the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, believes is illegal, obscene, offensive or defamatory, or infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party, or is otherwise inappropriate for a campaign designed for mass audience entertainment.
47. Participants warrant that they have full rights to the images and descriptions that they upload and that the use of the said material shall not constitute a breach of any third party’s copyright or other intellectual property rights.
48. Participants agree that by uploading their images and/or descriptions, they grant permission to the Promoter to use the images or descriptions or any part thereof, in any and all media for promotional/marketing purposes no consideration payable to the participants.
49. The Promoter may in its sole discretion amend these terms and conditions at any time, without notice, and such amendment(s) will be deemed to have taken effect from the date of publication of the revised terms and condition on the [www.whatsfordinner.co.za] website.
