Chicken and Cabbage Sishebo 
Ingredients
  • 4 chicken thighs, cut in half
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil (30 ml)
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 yellow pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp Rajah mild & spicy curry powder, rajah mild
  • 2 tsp Robertsons chicken spice
  • cabbage, shredded (½ cabbage)
  • 2 cups water (500ml)
  • 1 Knorrox chicken stock cube
  • 2 tbsp Knorr cream of Chicken Soup (30ml)
Cooking Method
  1. Heat oil In a large pot and fry the chicken thighs until lightly browned, then remove the thighs and set them aside

  2. Fry the onions and yellow pepper until soft

  3. Add the Rajah Mild & Spicy Curry Powder and Robertsons Chicken Spice and fry for 1 minute

  4. Return the chicken to the pot and add cabbage, water and Knorrox Chicken Stock Cube

  5. Allow to simmer for 30 minutes

  6. Mix the Knorr Cream of Chicken Soup with a little water to form a smooth paste and stir into the stew

  7. Allow it all to simmer until it gets thick

  8. Serve with rice or pap
