Lamb and Potato Stew 
Ingredients
  • 30 ml cooking oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ½ green pepper, chopped
  • 15 ml Rajah medium curry powder
  • 5 ml Robertsons garlic flakes
  • 500 g lamb stewing pieces
  • 45 ml Knorr brown onion Soup
  • 45 ml tomato paste
  • 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters
  • 2.5 g Knorrox Mutton stock cube
  • 375 ml water
Cooking Method
  1. Heat oil in a pot and fry onion and green pepper until soft

  2. Add the Rajah Curry Powder and Robertsons Garlic Flakes

  3. Fry for 1 minute, stirring continuously

  4. In a separate bowl toss the lamb pieces in Knorr Brown Onion Soup until well coated

  5. Add the lamb to the pot and fry until well browned

  6. Then add the tomato paste, carrots, potatoes, Knorrox Mutton Stock Cube and water and stir well

  7. Cover pot with a lid and allow to simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender

  8. Thicken with a little extra Knorr Brown Onion Soup if necessary

  9. Serve with rice or sadza
