The perfect Friday evening snack! This easy-to-prepare vetkoek and mince recipe will kickstart your weekend.

Ingredients
  • 200 g Knorrox soya mince chilli beef flavour
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 300 g lean beef mince
  • 4 medium-sized potatoes peeled cubed
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 Knorrox chilli beef stock cubes
  • 1 cup of frozen peas
Cooking Method
  1. Place the Knorrox Soya Mince Chilli Beef Flavour in a bowl with the water and set aside to soak.

  2. Heat the oil in a large pot and fry the onion and green pepper until soft.

  3. Add the beef mince and fry until well browned.

  4. Add the soaked Knorrox Soya Mince together with the potatoes, water and Knorrox Chilli Beef Stock Cubes and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.

  5. Stir in the frozen peas and simmer for a further 5 minutes.
