Chicken Neck Sishebo 
Ingredients
  • 750 g chicken neck
  • 30 ml oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 5 ml Rajah mild & spicy curry powder
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 15 ml Robertsons chicken Spice
  • 250 ml water
  • 50 g packet of Knorr Chakalaka soup
  • 250 ml McCains diced frozen carrots (1 cup)
Cooking Method
  1. Brown the chicken necks in oil, then add the onion and curry powder, fry until onion is soft

  2. Add tomatoes, chicken spice, water and soup powder

  3. Cover with a lid and simmer gently for about 30 minutes or until chicken neck is cooked through

  4. Add the diced carrots and cook for a further 5 minutes

  5. Serve with mashed potato, pap or rice
