Ingredients
- 400 g chicken breast fillet, sliced into thin strips
- 5 ml Robertsons ginger
- 2 ml Robertsons coriander
- 1 ml Robertsons cinnamon
- 30 ml sunflower oil
- 2 celery sticks, sliced
- 6 spring onions, chopped
- 250 ml bean sprouts
- cashew nuts, toasted (to garnish)
- 1 sachet 50 g Knorr chicken noodle soup
- 200 ml boiling water
- 10 ml honey
- 15 ml soy sauce
- 125 ml apple juice
Preparation method
- Rub the Robertsons spices into the chicken and set aside for 15 minutes
- Add boiling water to the contents of the sachet of Knorr Chicken Noodle Soup and leave to stand for 15 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a pan and lightly brown the chicken strips
- Add the celery, spring onion and bean sprouts and stir-fry for a few minutes
- Add the remaining sauce ingredients to the soup mixture and stir well
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables and simmer until slightly thickened
- Top with the toasted cashew nuts and serve immediately
