Chicken Sishebo
Everything you expect from a hearty and comforting sishebo: tender chicken pieces, delicious veggies and a thick, rich gravy. Serve with pap or rice, plus steamed green vegetables for extra nutrition.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1.5 onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp Rajah medium curry powder
- 2 tsp Robertsons chicken spice
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 500 g mixed chicken pieces
- 2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 Knorrox chicken stock cube
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp Knorr brown onion soup
Preparation method
- In a pot, brown the onion in oil until soft
- Add the Rajah Medium Curry Powder, Robertsons Chicken Spice and tomatoes
- Fry for about two minutes
- Add the chicken pieces and fry until well browned
- Add the carrots, potato, water and Knorrox Chicken Stock Cube, stir well and allow them to simmer for 30 minutes with the lid on, stirring occasionally
- Just before serving, mix the Knorr Brown Onion Soup with 4 tablespoons of water to make a smooth paste and add it to the pot
- Allow to simmer for a further 5 minutes to thicken
- Serve with pap or rice
