Prawn Thermidor

Garlic, cheese and white wine make up the tasty flavour of this creamy thermidor prawn recipe.

Serves 4 | Preparation Time: 30 mins | Cooking Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 30 gram Margarine
  • 1 Leek, sliced
  • 400 gram Prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 150 millilitre Dry white wine
  • 1 KNORR Garlic and Herb Potato Bake
  • 500 millilitre Milk
  • 250 millilitre Mature cheddar cheese
  • 125 millilitre Fresh cream
  • 1 pinch Robertsons Freshly Ground Atlantic Sea Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a large saucepan.
  2. Add leeks and prawns and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the wine.
  4. In a jug, mix the Knorr Potato Bake together with the cold milk and stir until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the milk mixture to the prawns, stirring until smooth.
  6. Continue stirring over medium heat for 5 minutes or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  7. Stir in the cheese and cream.
  8. Add seasonings and parsley and serve.
