  • 500g butternut, peeled and cubed
  • 250ml milk
  • 125ml cream
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 5ml chilli paste
  • 1 sachet KNORR Thick White Onion Soup
  • Chives, chopped for garnish


  • Preheat oven to 180C
  • Place cubed butternut into an ovenproof casserole dish
  • In a jug mix together the remaining ingredients except for the chives and pour over the butternut
  • Cover with tinfoil and bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 30minutes
  • Remove tinfoil and bake for a further 20 – 30 minutes or until tender
  • Garnish with chopped chives
