Pear and blue cheese nachos

The adult version of nachos – perfect for that book club gathering!

  • 250g diced bacon
  • 1 sachet KNORR Classic White Sauce
  • 200g blue cheese, crumbled
  • 200g nacho chips
  • 125g tinned pears, drained and sliced
  • 50g pecan nuts, roughly chopped


  • Place oven onto the grill function
  • Fry the diced bacon until crispy then set aside
  • Prepare the sachet of KNORR Classic White Sauce as per the on-pack instructions then add half the crumbled blue cheese to it and stir well until the blue cheese has melted into the sauce
  • Arrange the nacho chips into an oven proof casserole dish, large enough so that they are well spread out
  • Arrange the sliced pears over the nacho chips then scatter the chopped pecan nuts and fried bacon over this
  • Pour the prepared sauce over the nachos and top with the remaining crumbled blue cheese
  • Place into the oven for about 5 – 8 minutes to lightly brown the top of the nachos and melt the blue cheese then serve immediately
