A simple and easy to follow recipe for creating your own satay chicken stir fry!

Ingredients

  • 15 ml sunflower oil
  • 500 g Skinless chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 1 KNORR Chicken Stock Pot
  • 45 ml Honey
  • 30 ml Dijon Mustard
  • 400 ml water
  • 45 ml Peanut butter
  • 15 ml Reduced salt soy sauce
  • 1 Cup green beans, sliced
  • 1 Red pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Spring onions, sliced
  • 500 ml uncooked rice

Method

  • Boil rice until tender then drain and set aside
  • Heat sunflower oil in a large pan and brown chicken
  • Add onion, KNORR Chicken Stock Pot, Honey, Dijon Mustard, water, peanut butter and soy, cover and simmer for 10 minutes
  • Add beans and red pepper. Cover and allow to simmer for another 5 minutes
  • Serve over cooked rice and sprinkle with spring onions
