Spaghetti Bolognaise - an all-time family favourite - but this time with a twist.

Ingredients

  • 15 ml Sunflower oil
  • Red sweet pepper, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 500 g Minced beef
  • 60 ml Chopped parsley
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 200 g Lean bacon, chopped
  • 1 sachet KNORR Spaghetti Bolognaise Dry Cook-in-Sauce
  • 200 g Spaghetti
  • 400ml Water
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Heat oil in a medium-sized saucepan and sauté the onion and red pepper until softened
  • Add bacon and mince, cook, stirring to break it up, until starting to brown
  • Add the contents of the sachet of KNORR Spaghetti Bolognaise Dry Cook-in-Sauce and water
  • Bring to the boil and cook for 15-20 minutes
  • Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to packet instructions and drain well
  • Stir Chopped Parsley into mince sauce
  • Serve spaghetti in a large serving dish or on individual plates, topped with mince sauce and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese
  • Enjoy with a crisp green salad
