Bacon & Corn Hash Browns - USA
Try hash browns with a twist - just in time for the World Cup.
Serves 4 | Preparation Time: 10 mins | Cooking Time: 20 mins
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 3 Rashers shoulder bacon, chopped
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1 Green pepper, seeded and chopped
- 2 Large potatoes, peeled and grated
- 125 millilitre Frozen corn, thawed
- 1 pinch Robertsons Paprika
- 2 Eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 KNORR Creamy Garlic Packet Sauce
- Robertsons Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Fresh flat-leaf parsley to garnish
Instructions
- In a frying pan heat 1 tablespoon of oil.
- Fry bacon until crisp.
- Remove and set aside.
- Add onion and green pepper to pan, cook for 5 minutes until soft.
- Add to bacon.
- In a large bowl mix together all ingredients except parsley.
- Grease a frying pan lightly with oil.
- Add ¼ cupfuls of mixture into pan and cook until golden brown and crispy on the bottom.
- Turn over and cook the other side.
- Stack and serve garnished with parsley.
