Grilled Haloumi With Balsamic Coriander Dressing

Ingredients

  • • 200 g haloumi cheese
  • • 2-3 tablespoons (30-45 ml) extra virgin olive oil
  • • 2-3 limes, juice and zest
  • • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) course grainy mustard
  • • 4 tablespoons (60 ml) KNORR Balsamic With Olive Oil Salad Dressing
  • • flour seasoned with salt and pepper
  • • Dressing:
  • • ½ teaspoon (2,5 ml) garlic paste
  • • 1 bunch fresh coriander leaves, chopped coarsely
  • • Robertsons Salt and Freshly Ground Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat cheese dry with kitchen paper and slice into fingers
  2. Prepare dressing by mixing together all ingredients in a bowl
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste
  4. Coat cheese slices in seasoned flour
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry cheese slices, for about 1 minute on each side, until golden
  6. Serve immediately on a platter with dressing poured over
  7. Serve with pita bread
