Crustless Quiche

Ingredients

  • • 250ml milk
  • • 2 thick slices whole-wheat or brown bread
  • • 30ml KNORR Tasty Chicken Soup with Chicken Spice
  • • 500ml grated cheese
  • • 30ml Stork margarine
  • • 2 extra large eggs
  • • 1 x 410g tin asparagus
  • • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C
  2. Boil milk and Stork margarine together
  3. Pour hot mixture over the bread and allow to soak in
  4. Beat the eggs, KNORR Soup Powder, asparagus, cheese and salt and pepper
  5. Add this to the bread mixture and mix lightly
  6. Turn into a greased ovenproof dish and sprinkle with a little cayenne pepper and bake for 30 minutes
  7. Variations: Substitute sweetcorn for asparagus or add bacon or tuna
