Barbecued Sage Sausages

Chutney and boerewors are synonymous with South African entertaining and this dish is great served as a pre-dinner snack.

Ingredients

  • • 500 g cocktail sausages or boerewors
  • • 300 ml boiling water
  • • 15 ml chutney
  • • 1 sachet Knorr Barbecue Sausage Cook-in-Sauce
  • • 50 ml fresh sage, chopped

Instructions

  1. Grill cocktail sausages or boerewors until done
  2. Empty sachet contents into a measuring jug, add boiling water and stir quickly with a fork until smooth
  3. Add sage and chutney and mix well
  4. Serve as a dipping sauce for the sausages or boerewors
