Barbecued Sage Sausages
Chutney and boerewors are synonymous with South African entertaining and this dish is great served as a pre-dinner snack.

Ingredients
- • 500 g cocktail sausages or boerewors
- • 300 ml boiling water
- • 15 ml chutney
- • 1 sachet Knorr Barbecue Sausage Cook-in-Sauce
- • 50 ml fresh sage, chopped
Instructions
- Grill cocktail sausages or boerewors until done
- Empty sachet contents into a measuring jug, add boiling water and stir quickly with a fork until smooth
- Add sage and chutney and mix well
- Serve as a dipping sauce for the sausages or boerewors
